20ft Shipping Container Price in the UAE
A quick, straight answer: our used 20ft Standard containers start from AED 4,000 ex-yard, and new one-trip units from AED 8,500. Here's what affects that price, and how to get an exact number for your site.
| Size | External L × W × H | Used from | New from |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20ft Standard | 6.06 × 2.44 × 2.59 m | AED 4,000 | AED 8,500 |
| 40ft Standard | 12.19 × 2.44 × 2.59 m | AED 7,000 | On request |
| 40ft High Cube | 12.19 × 2.44 × 2.90 m | AED 7,500 | AED 14,500 |
What affects a 20ft container's price?
New vs used
One-trip (new) containers cost more than used, cargo-worthy units. Both are available depending on your budget and use case: a new 20ft is AED 8,500 against AED 4,000 used.
Condition grade
Cargo-worthy units cost more than wind-and-water-tight units, which are fine for static storage but not for shipping cargo.
Modifications
Doors, windows, insulation, or paint jobs add to the base price. Standard unmodified units are the cheapest option.
Delivery distance
The prices above are ex-yard. Delivery is quoted separately based on how far your site is from our Sharjah yard.
20ft vs 40ft — which do you need?
A 20ft Standard holds roughly 33 m³ and suits smaller storage needs, tight site access, or single-item shipping. If you need significantly more space and your site can accommodate a longer unit, a 40ft Standard or 40ft High Cube (see our full specs table) may work out more cost-effective per cubic meter.
Ready-stock used 20ft Standard units start from AED 4,000 ex-yard with GulfStack Logistics, and new one-trip units from AED 8,500. Modified or refrigerated units are quoted on request.
